Jak je v jeho tvorbě obvyklé, použil nahrávku textu v původním českém znění, kterou doprovodil anglickými titulky (překlad Veronika Revická).
Podobně postupoval už v roce 2013 v případě básně Ve znaku.
Na svém blogu píše, jak Instinktea získala konečnou obrazovou podobu:
“I knew what films I wanted to work with before I got to make the track. For this poem I wanted to combine the exuberant colours and the feel of  ‘Black Forest’ (by David Mboussou) and ‘Never Sleep’ (by Colby Moore). Both films had the right amount of movement, darkness and colour that I was looking for. Yet they depict something opposite; A traditional dance performed by Gienza (from Fougamou) in ‘Black Forest’ against nightlife in NY (shot around Little Italy, Chinatown, Times Square and Hells Kitchen)
They work well together and the combination gave the video the right uncanny feel. The perfect mixture of the familiar and unfamiliar that is experienced as being peculiar.”
